Fender made some great guitars and basses in the late 1950s and these gold pickguard basses are the gold standard for those of us who like a bass. This one is very complete and original except for some brushed over finish that is on the headstock. There is some on the neck to a lessor degree and it is NOT on the body. All the original finish and parts are on this guitar and the case is not original. The neck is super comfortable as usual .
