Buddy Miles was from Omaha. When we were pre teens, Ron Hunter drove us to North Omaha to buy a Sunn Concert Lead amp for his brother Tom to use in our band. We were told it had belonged to Buddy Miles so I guess we are doing 7 degrees of Buddy Miles today. These guitars were for sure owned by Buddy Miles. He had them painted in the mid 1980s for a planned  re union of the Electric Flag. They were painted by Robert Lee. This is a stunning pair and deserve to stay together! Miles was living in Oakland in the mid 1980s and recording in the bay area before he became the singer for the very beloved California Raisins. That is the time frame that he had these guitars. The Stratocaster is made in Japan 1980s and the Precision bass is USA Made
